Create the payment
Enter the amount and an optional reference. Send a link, show a QR code or start from checkout.
How it works
Create a payment, send the customer to their bank for approval and track the returned status in Paydot.
Payment flow
Enter the amount and an optional reference. Send a link, show a QR code or start from checkout.
The customer reviews the business and amount, chooses their bank and approves using the bank’s own authentication.
Paydot receives the latest transaction status and displays it with the amount and reference.
Designed around the bank
The customer uses the bank they already know. Paydot starts the request, then brings the returned payment status back to the business.
Approval uses the authentication method provided by the customer’s bank. Paydot never asks for a bank password or one-time code.
Customers can complete the payment without creating another payment account or remembering another password.
There is no card number to type into Paydot. The customer chooses their bank and continues to its approval flow.
Customers choose from the participating banks available for the payment in their market.
Paydot’s role
Paydot provides the web interface connecting a customer to their account-holding bank. Payment initiation services are provided by Plaid B.V.
Paydot is not a bank or payment service provider, and does not hold or transfer customer funds. Availability depends on participating banks and markets.
